Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America, including Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha. Each year, the 170 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
Thousands of special events and grassroots fundraisers are conducted year-round through a coalition of premier children's hospitals, media partners and corporate volunteers working together to ensure healthy kids in their communities. In addition to the "Children's Miracle Network Celebration," an annual televised fundraiser, corporate sponsors sell paper Miracle Balloons, radio stations broadcast Radiothons, and college students hold Dance Marathons - just a few of the programs generating millions of dollars each year to provide the lifesaving care and crucial services kids need.
100 percent of funds raised in our community by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals stay in the local area to benefit the children we serve. Kohl's Cares
In 2000, Kohl's introduced the Kohl's Cares hospital program to promote children's health and educational opportunities. The Kohl's Cares program currently benefits more than 150 hospitals nationwide, including Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha.
Since 2000, Kohl's Cares for Kids has given more than $1 million to support Children's injury prevention programs. As the proud leader of Safe Kids Omaha, Children's works to educate children and parents about the importance of leading safe and healthy lives through programs including car seat installation and safety checks, bicycle safety, health fairs and safety expos.
