Our Impact

2016 Impact

In 2016, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Hubbard Center for Children, a 10-floor, 500,000-square-foot clinical facility at 84th & Dodge Streets to accommodate growing demand for our services and improve pediatric care for patients and families.

Made a record-breaking year with Friends Board income reaching $1.3 million.


Participation in our employee giving program reached 94% participation and over $265,700 in giving.


Acquired $1 million in Special Designated Grants, including grants for Carolyn Scott Rainbow House operations; Innovation Awards; the Childhood Obesity Community Program; Trauma, Injury Prevention, Project Austin; a new Outpatient Dialysis Clinic; Behavioral Health/Mental Health; Center for the Child & Community; Nursing Scholarships and the Eating Disorders Program.

Celebrated 100% giving participation by the Foundation and Hospital Board of Directors.


Totaled overall active donors to 13,717, with an average gift of $1,294, bringing in 7,388 new donors.
